As much as any stationery lover enjoys their pens, pencils, inks and desk tools, the receptacle for these prized items is important too. I recently bought myself the beautiful P.A.P Fiffi Pencase Folder in Norway for days when I want a minimal everyday carry.

That Time I Visited Field Notes
This post has been bumped right up my schedule because I’m too excited not to share it with you. Today I’m writing about my recent trip to Field Notes HQ in Chicago.
Happy 2nd Birthday to The London Parchment
The London Parchment is Two Years Old. I love having this little outlet for my thoughts on the stationery tools and projects that I enjoy so much. Here’s a quick summary of my second year of stationery blogging.
Travel Carry for Germany
I’ve been working in Leipzig since Monday, a city I have never visited before. As with any business trip, I meticulously planned my stationery everyday carry. I’m attending a summit consisting of several talks, panel sessions and technical visits, so my stationery carry is geared towards easy notetaking and brainstorming.
Writing With The Seasons: Spring
Spring has been a long time coming in London and in some ways I feel like we missed it! We went from grey, squally and chilly to bright, sunny and hot. Still though, I’ve been celebrating spring through four new ink choices that I’ve been bringing into rotation since the beginning of April.
A Celebration of Paper: G.F Smith
Do you ever look at the stationery you’re using and wonder how it came to be? I do. With this in mind, I recently visited G.F Smith, a paper maker. I had come across G.F Smith online when reading about various paper projects so when I saw that they have a space you can visit and a gorgeous paper art installation, I popped over one lunchtime to visit this Great British company.
NotAnotherBill Subscription: Review and Giveaway
In November last year I entered a competition at the newly-opened Design Museum in London, to win a NotAnotherBill gift subscription. And I won! Three months of complementary gifts came in the post, and today I’m reviewing what I received. Also, for the first time on The London Parchment I’m hosting a giveaway, to pay my luck forward that I had when I won this gift subscription.
My Favourite Field Notes: Shenandoah
Field Notes have just released the new Utility edition so our favourite brand are fresh on our minds. In the spirit of Field Notes season, I’m starting a mini-series, which will cover my favourite editions, and my not-so-favourites, as well as some of the ways that I’ve used some of my Field Notes in the past. I’m starting on a high with my favourite Field Notes edition: Shenandoah, the Fall 2015 COLORS edition.
Writing With The Seasons: Winter
As I mentioned in my Stationery-Related New Year’s Resolutions post, in 2017 I will be using seasonal shades of ink in my fountain pens to encourage me to use my ink pens more, to make better use of the inks in my collection and to bring through the seasons within my journaling and notetaking. Today I am sharing my winter inks and their fountain pen pairings that will see me through until the end of February.
Stationery-Related New Year’s Resolutions for 2017
Happy New Year! Today I’m sharing some stationery and craft-related items from my New Year’s Resolutions. Hopefully there will be lots of opportunities throughout 2017 to update The London Parchment with how I’m getting on with them.
So what are my stationery to-dos for 2017?
