Mauritius: Photos From Days Gone By

I live in a house with a loft full of old photographs. My father is a talented amateur photographer and I found a stack of pictures he took of various scenes in Mauritius many years ago. I really felt that they were too lovely not to share. My mum was Mauritian, so we have a special place in our hearts for this little island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. This month also marks ten years since she passed away, so looking back on these pictures of her homeland makes me happy and they are very true to my memories.

2018 Setup Part 2: Journal Choices

I’m currently basking in my own indecision around my 2018 diary and daily journal choices. Part 1 of this two-part series looked at the choices I’ve narrowed down for my diary setup, where I record my day-to-day activities, things to remember, upcoming tasks, the occasional list and any other necessary jottings that help me keep life organised. 2018 Setup Part 1: Choosing a Daily Diary

I’m currently trying to choose my diary and journal system for 2018, as they are a staple of my Christmas list. I think being a stationery lover comes with a certain amount of indecisiveness and over-analysis, especially when trying to commit to a product for a year.  I’ve narrowed down a selection to share with you over two posts, alongside some highly first-world-problem thoughts about each one.
